Complete Refurbishment of a Grade 1 listed building

This project consisted of the complete refurbishment to the electrical installation to accommodate the buildings new function, whilst keeping the integrity of the history within the building. The project consists of 6 floors, with the basement housing a modern retro style canteen area and vaulted ceiling science laboratories. We had to take care throughout the build to not damage any of the many historic ceilings throughout the building. Clayton Electrical Ltd was contracted to install the complete electrical installation from start to completion of the project alongside one of our mechanical partners.

The install included all electrical items covered in the development. Some of which were:

• Medium duty containment

• Submains and metering

• Specialist supplies for kitchen equipment

• Main panel board distribution

• Electrical install of all items

• Air conditioning supplies

We worked closely with the builders, project managers, client and alongside our Mechanical partner to ensure the project was completed on time and budget.
